Shrek KIDS - Week 1

Beauty is in the eye of the ogre in Shrek The Musical KIDS, based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film and fantastic Broadway musical. It's a "big bright beautiful world" as everyone's favorite ogre, Shrek, leads a cast of fairytale misfits on an adventure to rescue a princess and find true acceptance. Part romance and part twisted fairy tale, Shrek KIDS is an irreverently fun show with a powerful message for the whole family.
Age Range:
Rising 1st graders through rising 5th graders
Auditions & Callbacks:
Auditions will be submitted via video. In-person callbacks will be Monday, May 18th from 5:00-7:30 at our studio
Camp dates:
June 8th - June 14th from 9:00 am - 3:30 pm
Performances:
Saturday June 13th at 7:00pm and Sunday June 14th at 2:30pm

The Eagle Theatre in Downtown Sugar Hill, GA
Attendance Policy:
To put together an amazing Shrek KIDS musical in just five days, it is essential that campers attend every day of camp. Each rehearsal builds on the one before it, and being present helps the whole cast succeed (and keeps the swamp running smoothly!).
All campers will submit a conflict calendar prior to auditions. Please note that students with any conflicts during camp week will not be considered for principal roles.

$450 (includes a $25 registration fee + show shirt)

The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical

This camp is NOW FULL!
As the half-blood son of a Greek god, Percy Jackson has newly-discovered powers he can’t control, a destiny he doesn’t want, and a mythology textbook’s worth of monsters on his trail. When Zeus”s master lightning bolt is stolen and Percy becomes the prime suspect, he has to find and return the bolt to prove his innocence and prevent a war between the gods. But to succeed on his quest, Percy will have to do more than catch the thief. He must travel to the Underworld and back; solve the riddle of the Oracle, which warns him of betrayal by a friend; and come to terms with the father who abandoned him.
Age Range:
Rising 6th graders through rising 12th graders
Auditions & Callbacks:
Auditions will be submitted via video. In-person callbacks will be Wednesday, May 20th & Thursday, May 21st from 5:00-9:00 at our studio. Please be prepared to attend both callback days. If you have a conflict, email us at otschildrenstheatre@gmail.com.

Attendance Policy:
OTSCT students enrolled in this camp will perform the full-length Broadway production of The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical. While we are thrilled to offer this exciting opportunity, it does require a higher level of commitment.
If your child has multiple conflicts with camp dates, we ask that you carefully reconsider enrollment. Please note that students who enroll with multiple conflicts will not be considered for principal roles. All students will be required to submit a conflict calendar prior to auditions.

Based on one of Roald Dahl’s most poignantly quirky stories, Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach JR. is a brand new take on this "masterpeach" of a tale. Featuring a wickedly tuneful score and a witty and charming book, this adventurous musical about courage and self-discovery is destined to be a classic.
Age Range:
Rising 2nd graders through rising 5th graders
Auditions & Callbacks:
Auditions will be submitted via video, due on June 22nd. In-person callbacks will happen on the first day of camp, Monday, July 6th.
Camp dates:
July 6th - July 17th from 9:00am - 4:00pm
Performances:
Saturday, July 18th at 2:30pm & 7:00pm

To bring James and the Giant Peach Jr. to life in just ten days, consistent attendance is extremely important. Each rehearsal builds on the last, and every camper plays a key role in telling this story and supporting the ensemble. All campers are expected to attend camp each day.
