Weekly Rehearsals
Students participate in weekly rehearsals where they work with a group of peers in an ensemble setting. Each rehearsal is steeped in acting techniques while also building confidence and life skills.
Professional Performance
Students get a Broadway experience by performing on the beautiful stage at The Eagle Theatre of Sugar Hill. Our students are fortunate to work with many designers, choreographers, teachers, and other industry professionals.
Theatre Education
Students are immersed in all aspects of the theatre world, from audition processes, blocking, vocal work, choreography, classical acting technique, character development, and so much more.

Based on Meredith Willson's six-time Tony Award-winning musical comedy, The Music Man KIDS features some of musical theatre’s most iconic songs and a story filled with wit, warmth and good old-fashioned romance. The Music Man KIDS is family entertainment at its best — a bold, brassy show that will have the whole town a Twitter!
The Music Man KIDS is the perfect vehicle for young cast members with a toe-tapping crowd-pleaser score and plenty of roles for kids of every level.

There is a $25 registration fee which includes your show shirt.

IMPORTANT NOTE: We understand our students have busy schedules. While we are happy to work around minor conflicts, we ask that our cast be committed to the rehearsal schedule. Each cast member will submit a conflict calendar during auditions.
Production Length: January 8th - March 24th
Auditions: Monday, January 8th, from 5:00 - 6:30; Tuesday, January 9th, from 5:00 - 7:30
Callbacks: Wednesday, January 10th, from 5:00 - 7:30
Weekly Rehearsals: Starting January 15th: Mondays from 5:00-6:30, and Tuesdays from 5:00 - 7:00
Saturday Rehearsals: January 20th & February 3rd, from 10:00-2:00
Tech Rehearsal: March 18 - 22 (tech rehearsal usually runs from 5:00 - 8:00 pm)
Performance Dates: March 23rd @ 11:30 pm & 2:30 pm, March 24th @ 2:30 pm

The story centers around King Arthur and his search for the Holy Grail. After a rather silly bit of miscommunication leads us briefly to Finland, our king, and his ever-faithful squire Patsy begin to search for knights to accompany him on his Quest. He finds his first in the unlikely guise of Dennis, a hideous local mud farmer. After convincing the locals that he is the king by conjuring the Lady of Lake to prove it, Dennis is transformed into Sir Galahad. The rest of the knights are found far and wide and The Lady of the Lake and her Laker Girls, send our stalwart band on their way. They meet up with an unforgettable slew of outrageously kooky characters and musical hilarity ensues as Arthur and the Knights make their journey.
