At On The Stage Children’s Theatre, it is our mission to give every child the opportunity to be a part of this creative platform. We believe in the power of creativity and the arts and want to help ALL children shine. Our Scholarship Program allows us to provide financial assistance to families.
NOTE: We are a 501c3 non-profit children’s theatre. Once you have completed your donation, you will automatically receive a tax receipt for your records.
ABOUT KYA PENNINGTON
Kya became a student of Mrs. Renee's in 2012 with Charlotte's Web. She was a student of Mrs. Renee's for several years and even worked one summer at OTSCT. Kya was diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia in January 2019 and passed in November 2023. Kya knew how to light up a room. She was funny, caring, protective, and talented on the stage and off. She loved working with On the Stage Children's Theatre and found so much joy in watching children and teens find their passion on the stage. It is with great joy and sadness that we are starting the Kya Pennington Scholarship Fund in her honor. Our hope is this scholarship fund will give opportunities to children who don't have the means.
