Acting & Theatre Dance Classes

Registration is now open for our acting classes and theatre dance classes.

THEATRE TAP CLASS

Description: (Grades 3-5) Tap classes develop rhythm and musicality. Students will learn basic technique while exploring Broadway and rhythm styles. Learn how to make that "tap sound!"

When: Wednesdays, January 17th-May 15th from 5:00-6:00 pm

**NO CLASS February 21, March 20, April 3, & April 24

Tuition: $65 per month- The first payment will be charged on the first day of class. All other payments will be charged on the 1st of each month.

ACTING FOCUS

Description: (Grades 6+) Students will take their acting to the next level by being immersed in all aspects of stage performance. They will learn how to use a script to craft a believable character for the stage and explore how to communicate emotions using the whole body. These concepts will be applied to scene work. Our training is Stanislavski-based. It presents a way of performing truthfully on stage through imaginary circumstances.

When: Wednesdays, January 17th-May 15th, from 7:00-8:30 pm

**NO CLASS February 21, March 20, April 3, & April 24

Tuition: $75 per month- The first payment will be charged on the first day of class. All other payments will be charged on the 1st of each month.

ACTING FOUNDATIONS

Description: (Grades 3-5) Students will be immersed in all aspects of stage performance. They will learn how to use a script to craft a believable character for the stage and explore how to communicate emotions using the whole body. These concepts will be applied to scene work. Students will be taught in a way that elicits “playing on the stage”. Our training is Stanislavski-based. It presents a way of performing truthfully on stage through a set of imaginary circumstances.

When: Mondays, March 25th-May 13th, from 5:00-6:00 pm This class starts the Monday AFTER “The Music Man, Kids” performance. **NO CLASS April 1, & April 22

Tuition: $65 per month- All payments will be charged on the 1st of each month (April and May)
