Sarah Ekstrand is an Atlanta based stunt performer. She menteed under stunt coordinator Michael Long, and had the opportunity to assist him on 8 episodes of the TV show Panhandle. Since then she has gone on to perform, do utility stunts, choreograph for, and coordinate various independent features, shorts, student films, and verticals. Most recently, she worked with director Haylie Duff on the Life Time features Deadly Sign In and Her Only Way.

Yes, Sarah has a B.A. in Dance from Columbia College Chicago, and is currently a dance instructor as well. She has been working in stunts officially for 5 years. She largely gets hired to help actresses and directors navigate emotionally intense scenes— making sure that topics like domestic violence and abuse are being handled with care so that we can tell stories that need to have a light shown on them while everyone is emotionally and physically safe.
